Register for a celebration of wines, maple and local flavors showcasing local specialty wines, maple infused treats, and local foods. An assortment of cheese presented by artisan cheese maker Reverie Creamery, pulled pork sandwiches from Ivory Wind Acres in Stockton, made with maple BBQ sauce, and organic REACH chocolate snacks will be offered along with wine tastings by wineries in Lake Erie Wine Country.

Local experts will be on hand to guide visitors through the history and exhibits and offer insights into the vineyard in spring. The $25 (+ tax) ticket includes wine and food tastings. Beverages by the glass will be available for additional purchase.

In addition, singer-sonwriter Kev Rowe will entertain visitors from 1:30-4:30pm. Kev's music is heard world-wide on Pandora, Spotify, and iTunes. He has won numerous contest awards and continues to garner national attention in the singer-songwriter scene for his intimate, personal, singing style and lyrics. He has been a touring musician for 15 years doing over 1000 gigs either as a solo acoustic musician or with his previous band, Big Leg Emma. Recently he opened for songwriting legends America and was asked to play the encore "Horse with No Name" to a sold-out audience at the legendary Birchmere Music Hall in Alexandria, VA. He is now in the midst of launching his new album From Maggie's Farm.

An Afternoon of Wine and Maple is the third in a series of special events at the Grape Discovery Center presenting Lake Erie regional wine and craft beverages in a seasonal context. Support for the event is provided by a grant through Empire State Development Corporation and Taste NY, Governor Andrew Cuomo’s initiative to promote the quality, diversity and economic impact of New York’s food and beverage industries.
